Abstract:

To know the leaf age condition of maize in advance, can not only make the farmers prepare in advance for using leaf age fertilization, but also clarify the ear differentiation of maize, which is of great significance for precise field management in maize production. Based on the experimental data of five spring maize field tests from 2012 to 2014 in Jiamusi, Lishu and Yushu station, the relationship between leaf age and equivalent accumulated temperature was analyzed by using equivalent accumulated temperature model. The leaf age growth model of spring maize was established to realize the quantitative growth of maize leaf simulation. The model passed the significance test well. Under the condition of no drought, the model could be used to simulate the leaf age of ‘Xianyu 335’ in Heilongjiang and Jilin, and predict the leaf age of spring maize according to weather forecast.
