  Problems in Rice DUS Testing in China 2018, 8 (11):  1-3.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18050024 Abstract + ( 668 )   PDF ( 1029KB )   ( 798 ) In order to further improve the accuracy of distinctness,uniformity and stability(ab.DUS) test of rice varieties, the author’s were used to analysis of the rice DUS test guideline(2012 version) and the domestic rice DUS test work status quo. Enumerated such issues as problems related to standard varieties and test traits in rice DUS test guideline, and at present there are long test cycles, heavier testing tasks and difficult testing quality in the domestic rice DUS test.In response to the above series of problems,we has put forward such tips as speed up the revision of rice DUS test guideline and development rice test operation manual,and setting up a variety of test patterns,and the construction of testing technology system.The countermeasures and suggestions for the problem will provide reference for the development of rice DUS testing and future revision of the DUS guideline for rice.

  Corn Kernel Dehydration Rate: Research Progress 张凤启,王邑双,,,, and 2018, 8 (11):  4-8.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17090005 Abstract + ( 715 )   PDF ( 1120KB )   ( 849 ) The kernel dehydration rate of maize is one of the main factors determining kernel moisture content at harvest time. Comprehensive, systematic and further research on this key trait could promote the breeding efficiency of maize with mechanical-reaped kernel, and accelerate the whole-process mechanization of China’s maize production. Therefore, the study, in terms of kernel dehydration rate measurement methods, the relationship of kernel dehydration rate with other agronomic traits, the genetic improvement and the genetic mechanism, etc. discussed the research progress of maize kernel dehydration rate at home and abroad in recent years. Meanwhile, some problems in the research were analyzed, and the countermeasure for each problem was also provided. The study will provide information for further researches on the kernel dehydration rate in maize.

  Planting Density Under the Mode of Single-seed Precision Sowing: Effect on Yield and Dry Matter Accumulation of Peanut 2018, 8 (11):  9-15.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18030012 Abstract + ( 553 )   PDF ( 1218KB )   ( 454 ) To find the effect of planting density on peanut yield and dry matter accumulation with single-seed precision sowing mode,‘Tieyinghua 1’and‘TangA825’were used as research materials. 6 planting densities of 7.5×104, 15×104, 22.5×104, 30×104, 37.5×104 and 18×104 plants/hm2 were set up. The results showed that proper increase of planting density under single-seed precision sowing was good for peanut production. The large-seed type‘Tieyinghua 1’had the best yield at 15×104 plants/hm2, 15.8% more than that of the control. The medium and small-seed type‘TangA825’had the best yield at 22.5×104 plants/hm2, 26.5% more than that of the control. Planting density did not have obvious influence on the dry matter accumulation at the earlier stage, and at the later stage, the group yields, the maximum stage accumulation, the maximum daily accumulation, the dry matter accumulation of leaves, stems and stalks had a peak change with the increase of planting density, while the dry matter accumulation, output rate, contribution rate of single plant decreased significantly with the increase of planting density.

It happens in most rice- planting areas in southern China, and seriously decreases rice yield. However, effective strategies to control the BLS are still absent so far. Here, we illuminate the genetic breeding control of BLS which contain the screening of resistant genes and rice varieties and the breeding of resistant rice varieties; and summarize the biological control of BLS including the discovery and utilizing of biocontrol microbes and the screening of antibacterial substances. In addition, the chemical control of BLS is also introduced in this paper. At last, integrated control strategies of BLS are reviewed in order to provide references for effectively control of this disease.

  Investigations on Arthropod and Their Dominance in Flue-cured Tobacco Field of Longyan 2018, 8 (11):  21-26.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17110019 Abstract + ( 565 )   PDF ( 1100KB )   ( 663 ) The purposes are to investigate the species of arthropod and their dominance in flue-cured tobacco field of Longyan, and to provide a basis for controlling tobacco pests by interplanting garlic. A systematic investigation was conducted in the experimental field of tobacco substation of Tobacco Company in Longyan City from 2008 to 2009. In 2011- 2017, the authors conducted a random investigation on the arthropod populations to verify the systematic investigation from 2008 to 2009. The results showed that 11501 individuals of arthropods were obtained, and they belonged to 2 classes, 11 orders, 44 families and 65 species. The herbivore functional group had 33 species, only Myzus persicue (Sulzer) was the dominant specie among them. There were 9 species belonging to parasitoid functional group, and only Aphidius gifuensis Ashmead was a frequent specie (2009) or occasional specie (2008). There were 16 species belonging to predator functional group. There were 7 species belonging to neutral functional group, and only Chironomus oryzae Mats. was the dominant specie. The results of the random investigation in 2011-2017 were consistent with the results of the systematic investigation in 2008-2009.

  Occurring Characteristics of Nysius ericae (Schilling): The First Discovery on Wolfberry 2018, 8 (11):  27-30.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17100005 Abstract + ( 644 )   PDF ( 1447KB )   ( 678 ) Nysius ericae (Schilling) was a pest , which damaged on the Wolfberry and occurred in Ningxia for the first time. In order to determine the harm rules of Nysius ericae (Schilling) in wolfberry field, and provide scientific basis for forecasting and comprehensive treatment, the Distribution, damage and morphologic character of Nysius ericae (Schilling) investigated in wolfberry basement in Zhongwei, NingXia in 2017 by the method of observation. The results showed that Nysius ericae (Schilling) began to endanger wolfberry field at the beginning of July, and the peak period of damage occurred on July 15. The morphological characters were adult, nymph and egg. The adults and nymphs clustered mainly to harm buds and fruits , and can also damaged leaves and twigs. The period of damaged buds was the period of mating and spawning of Nysius ericae (Schilling).

  Diagnostic Analysis and Numerical Simulation of a Heavy Rainstorm Process in Shandong 2018, 8 (11):  31-37.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17100023 Abstract + ( 551 )   PDF ( 3609KB )   ( 416 ) To discuss the cause and physical mechanism of summer heavy rainstorm in Shandong Province, and provide valuable reference for the simulation and forecasting analysis of strong rainfall, the heavy rainstorm process on July 29—31 2015 in Shandong was simulated and diagnosed by the conventional observation data and WRF model. The results showed that: (1) this heavy rainstorm was caused by the interaction of eastward westerly trough and vortex, shear line in lower troposphere layer, the location and movement of weather systems showed a good agreement with rainstorm area; (2) the WRF model could simulate the weather system quite well, while the simulated location and range of rain belt were basically identical with the actual situation; (3) two sources of water vapor were discovered through analysis of water vapor flux at 850 hPa and the vertical section of water vapor flux divergence, and there were shear line and vortex on the left side of southwest jet. Strong low-level convergence cooperated with large water vapor flux, which caused strong water vapor convergence. The sustained convergence and upward movement of large water vapor provided sufficient moisture for the heavy rainstorm. This process was a typical heavy rainstorm at flood season in Shandong, the coordination between weather systems at the upper and lower troposphere together with instability conditions were very beneficial to the development of severe convective weather. The simulation results of WRF model could make up the shortage of conventional observation and reanalysis data in temporal and spatial resolution, and be helpful to analyze and understand the heavy rainfall process better.

  Successive Planting Generations of Cunninghamia lanceolata: Soil Enzyme Activity and Growth 2018, 8 (11):  38-45.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18080017 Abstract + ( 544 )   PDF ( 1977KB )   ( 491 ) The paper aims to study the effects of successive planting on the growth and soil enzyme activities of Cunninghamia lanceolata. We compared the growth characteristics of the first (G1), second (G2) and third (G3) generation of C.lanceolata by the methods of space-for-time, the correlation and path analysis and analyzed the effects of soil enzyme activities on the growth of C.lanceolata and its mechanism. The results showed that: with the increase of planting generations, the growth of C.lanceolata showed a decreasing trend; the urease activity of G1, G2, G3 and CK decreased significantly with the soil depth (P<0.05); the activities of phosphatase and catalase had strong direct effects on the DBH and height growth of C.lanceolata; the path coefficients were 1.115 and 1.085, respectively. Soil enzyme activities and the growth of C.lanceolata decrease with the successive planting, and the growth of C.lanceolata is greatly influenced by phosphatase and catalase activity.

  Performances Comparison of Silkworm Rearing by‘Luyou’Introduced Mulberry Tree Varieties 2018, 8 (11):  46-48.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18040023 Abstract + ( 456 )   PDF ( 1165KB )   ( 571 ) To explore the silkworm breeding performance of‘Luyou 2’and‘Luyou 3’mulberry varieties in Ankang of Shaanxi, with the control of‘Hushan No.32’, the mulberry leaves were used for whole age feeding of 873×874 hybrids and their parents 873 and 874, the total cocoon volume, cocoon layer and cocoon layer rate of the hybrid and the spawning condition of the parents were measured. The results showed that compared with the control, there was no difference in the developmental process and the cocoon layer rate by feeding with ‘Luyou 2’,‘Luyou 3’mulberry leaves, but the total cocoon volume and the cocoon layer rate were significantly higher, and there was no difference in the good egg rate of the tested and the control mulberry varieties.

  High Density Cultivation Techniques of Early-Middle Maturing Broccoli at Different Seedling Ages 2018, 8 (11):  49-53.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18050011 Abstract + ( 506 )   PDF ( 1194KB )   ( 582 ) To explore the growth rule and flower balls harvest dynamics of broccoli in winter and spring at different seedling ages, and define the optimal seedling age scheme in high density cultivation for increasing yield and efficiency, an experiment on‘Miracle’broccoli in high density cultivation at different seedling ages was carried out. The results showed that the seedling age of‘Miracle’broccoli was elastic, and the suitable seedling age was 40-50 days. The growth and development process changed with the seedling ages, and the whole growth period was prolonged with increasing seedling age (P=1.3829X +56.895, r=0.9948**). On the contrary, the collecting period of flower balls was shortened (F=-0.4171X+29.562，r=0.9587**). High density cultivation with 46600 plants/hm2 (40% higher than that of conventional cultivation) showed that the qualified rate of commercial flower balls was over 98%. The ball shape, ball color and ball consolidation were ideal with bud uniformity and good quality, and the yield could reach 30 t/hm2.

  Development and Utilization of Juglans regia Male Inflorescences in China: Research Progress 卢超 2018, 8 (11):  54-57.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17080008 Abstract + ( 487 )   PDF ( 1082KB )   ( 692 ) Juglans regia male inflorescences is very rich in natural resources and nutrition, and has a certain health functions, it is a food resource of rich nutrients and worthy of development and utilization. For this reason, this paper summarized recent progress in J. regia male inflorescences resources, chemical constituents identification, fresh-keeping and drying technology, melanotic pigment and protein extraction as well as antioxidation activity. This paper further make a outlook on its development and utilization, and propose some improvements should be made in melanotic pigment identification, extraction and application, health-care food and antioxidation product development. Based on the above, we envision these studies should serve as reference for comprehensive utilization of J. regia male inflorescences resources.

  Optimization of ApoB Antigen Immunizing Dose for Improving Antibody Production Efficiency 2018, 8 (11):  58-61.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17080020 Abstract + ( 513 )   PDF ( 1127KB )   ( 417 ) With Hu sheep as the research object, we designed three different doses of ApoB antigens. The antibody production, antibody titer and ApoB product performance were analyzed. The results showed that the antibody titer of group 2 (0.4 mg antigen each time) was significantly higher than those of group 1 (0.2 mg antigen each time) and that of group 3 (1 mg antigen each time). Antibody titer could reach 1:29 after five times of immunization in group 2. The indexes of ApoB production performance were qualified, which indicated that the best efficiency of ApoB antibody was produced when each immunization antigen was 0.4 mg ApoB antigen. This study laid a good foundation for the wide utilization of ApoB antibody in medical field.

  Research Progress of Flavor Chemistry of Aquatic Products Based on SPME Technology 2018, 8 (11):  62-67.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17090010 Abstract + ( 630 )   PDF ( 1252KB )   ( 612 ) This review summarizes the establishment and application of SPME methods in flavor chemistry research at home and abroad. The analysis shows that the SPME technology has a good effect on the extraction of volatile substances in aquatic products. Based on the existing research, some suggestions are put forward, such as optimizing the stirring rate and developing specific SPME coating. The article provides a reference for readers interested in further understanding of this technology and applied it to the study of flavor chemistry in aquatic products.

  Greenhouse Vegetable Factory Production Under E-business Pattern: Value Stream Analysis and Its Improvement 2018, 8 (11):  68-72.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17120017 Abstract + ( 440 )   PDF ( 1154KB )   ( 479 ) Both the factory production of greenhouse vegetables and the E-commerce are in a stage of vigorous development in China, but are confronted with enormous challenges in deeper integration. Improving the value stream of greenhouse vegetable production, and integrating the supply chain of fresh vegetables and agricultural products of greenhouse, could provide new opportunities for the development of modern greenhouse agriculture. In view of the existing problems in E- commerce supply chain of greenhouse vegetables, countermeasures are put forward. The types, characteristics, and influence factors of greenhouse ecological economic system are discussed. This research also proposes a way to improve the value stream of the greenhouse ecological economic system of E-commerce supply chain, and provides references for innovating the circulation mode of greenhouse fresh vegetables, accelerating transformation and upgrading of greenhouse vegetable market system.

  Deep Anti-Blocking Infiltration Irrigation for Dry Land Wheat 2018, 8 (11):  73-77.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18010027 Abstract + ( 446 )   PDF ( 1255KB )   ( 422 ) The paper aims to improve the rain-collected water use efficiency on dry land wheat. Taking deep anti-blocking infiltration irrigation system and dry land wheat ‘Yunhan 618’ as test materials, the authors studied the effects of 5 limited water supplement irrigation on yield and yield component, water use efficiency and economic benefit of winter wheat in 2012-2017. The results showed that: water supplement irrigation increased the yield by 47.5%-478.0%, spikes, kernels/spike and 1000-grain weight significantly increased compared with the control, respectively; the water consumption in infiltration irrigation were greater than that of the control, the water use efficiency increased by 2.6-8.1 kg/(hm2?mm) compared with control and by 15.0%-245.5%, and the irrigation efficiency were 5.7-9.4 kg/(hm2?mm) in different precipitation years; the increase range of water use efficiency and irrigation efficiency were the greatest in drought years. The pure income of infiltration irrigation was 6849 yuan/hm2, and 117.4% higher than that of control based on 5-year average yield and 2.36 yuan/kg of wheat price. Deep anti-blocking infiltration irrigation system had remarkable effects on water-saving and yield increase and economic benefit.

This paper discusses the design philosophy and developing process of blockchain, and introduces the concept of token economy, then proposes the application scenario of blockchain in agriculture under current situation in China. By analyzing the prospect of combination of blockchain with agricultural internet of things and produce traceability, the authors point out that the application should innovate in economic mode to effectively encourage participants of all sectors in agriculture under the token economy perspective, rather than just upgrade the agricultural information technology from the technical perspective.

  Analysis of Main Indexes of 36 Chinese Journals of Agricultural Universities 2018, 8 (11):  82-87.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas17080029 Abstract + ( 379 )   PDF ( 1120KB )   ( 415 ) The basic information of 36 Chinese Journals of Agricultural Universities was investigated in this essay. Eleven source and citation indexes including published article volume, average number of citations, total cited frequency and impact factor were selected, for the comparison of the data of the 36 Chinese journals of agricultural universities. The results showed that the average published article volume, number of distributed areas, number of distributed institutions, ratio of overseas papers, cited frequency and immediacy index of Chinese journals of agricultural universities were lower than national averages, and the average number of citations, ratio of funded papers, impact factor and other- cited rate were improved greatly compared with national averages. The comparative analysis of different indexes showed that there is certain positive correlation between the annual published article volume and each of the number of distributed areas and the number of distributed institutions, and the annual published article volume has certain promoting effect on the total cited frequency of corresponding journal. Through the comparative analysis on the development status of Chinese journals of agricultural universities, this study will provide reference for the development of agricultural journals.

  Geographic Representation of Professional Staff in FAO 2018, 8 (11):  88-94.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18090009 Abstract + ( 469 )   PDF ( 1649KB )   ( 494 ) The paper elaborated FAO’s geographic representation system, including the job classification and the methodology for calculating the geographic distribution representation. We collected the data of nationals working for FAO enrolled in geographic representation yearly from 2001 to 2017 and analyzed the trend of change. Then from the realistic and the historical perspectives, we analyzed the geographic representation conditions of main member countries and estimated the influence made by the assessed contribution adjustment to the geographic representation. In view of that China still was a under-represented country in the Secretariat of FAO, we put forward countermeasures like planning to apply for the Director General of FAO, urging FAO to improve the efficiency of recruiting, expanding the recruitment propaganda and establishing a senior talent pool.

  Governance System and Document Framework of World Food Programme 2018, 8 (11):  95-100.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas18090019 Abstract + ( 514 )   PDF ( 1252KB )   ( 501 ) World Food Programme (WFP) is the professional organization in the UN system focusing on ending hunger, delivering food assistance in emergencies, improving nutrition and building resilience in the global wide. This study presents a comprehensive introduction of WFP from its governance system and document framework, on the basis of which concludes its governing pattern and clarifies its management trends. Besides, in order to promote cooperation between China and WFP, this study also tries to seek suggestions on the adaptation of work pattern and content through interpreting the emerging trends of WFP’s governance.
