  Application Dose of New Microbial Inoculants on Wheat Straw Decomposition: An Evaluation in Paddy Field Li Lei, Chen Shoubao, Sun Xiaoyu, Zhen Jing, Li Guanjie, Yue Dandan, Ning Meng, Mu Qi, Yang Jinxing, Chen Guocan, Gao Dingshi, Wang Jiwen 2021, 11 (11):  1-5.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0125 Abstract + ( 315 )   HTML ( 11 )   PDF ( 1528KB )   ( 194 ) To explore the application dosage and growth-promoting effect of the new fast straw return to field rot-promoting fungicide on the wheat straw return in rice field, a related field experiment was carried out. On the basis of conventional fertilization and wheat straw crushing and returning to field, 4 gradients of application dosage were set up: M1 (CK), M2 (30 kg/hm2), M3 (75 kg/hm2) and M4 (120 kg/hm2), and the effect of different application dosages on rice yield factors and rice yield was studied. The results showed that the application of the new fast straw returning fungicide not only promoted the degradation of straw, but also had a significant impact on the number of ears, grains per hectare and yield of rice. Compared with the control group M1, the M3 (75 kg/hm2) group had the best yield promotion effect, and the number of ears per hectare was 4.6635 million, increased by 16.09%; the number of grains per hectare was 86.03, increased by 12.12%. In terms of actual yield, the yield of M3 group was 7510.35 kg/hm2, which was 12.94% higher than that of the control. The physical and chemical properties of soil showed that the decay promoter significantly increased the content of alkaline hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium in soil, which was increased by 93.33%, 18.13% and 46.93%, respectively, compared with the control group. In conclusion, this study evaluated the effects of applying different dosages of new fast straw-returning fungicide on the degradation of wheat straw in rice field and on rice yield, and lays a foundation for future research.

  The Breeding of New Edible Soybean Variety ‘HeNong 78’ Guo Meiling, Guo Tai, Wang Zhixin, Zheng Wei, Li Candong, Zhao Haihong, Zhang Zhenyu, Xu Jiefei 2021, 11 (11):  6-10.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0024 Abstract + ( 1136 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1231KB )   ( 700 ) To promote the production of edible soybean, a high protein content and high yield variety ‘HeNong78’ was bred by simple backcrossing and molecular design breeding with the female parent of ‘HeiNong43’ and the male parent of (‘HeiNong54’ × ‘HeiNong43’) F1. ‘HeNong 78’ was validated and promoted by Heilongjiang Crop Committee in 2019. The 100-grain weight of ‘HeNong78’ ranged from 22 to 23 g, the protein content was 41.75% and the oil content was 20.42%. The average yield of regional trial was 2726.8 kg/hm2, 9.6% higher than that of the control variety ‘SuiNong26’. The average yield of production test was 3009.1 kg/hm2, 11.5% higher than that of ‘SuiNong26’. ‘HeNong78’ had medium resistance to gray spot (MR) and resistance to the SMVⅠ(R), its growing days was 120 and 2450℃ active accumulated temperature above 10℃ was needed. The variety is suitable for planting in the second accumulated temperate zone of Heilongjiang and areas with the same condition in other provinces. This variety integrates the cultivation techniques of high yield and quality assurance, and its breeding has broken the bottleneck of edible soybean production and could provide valuable experiences.

  80 Cotton Germplasm Resources: Utilization Value Evaluation Li Xinghe, Wang Haitao, Liu Cunjing, Tang Liyuan, Zhang Sujun, Cai Xiao, Xiong Yongbin, Zhang Xiangyun 2021, 11 (11):  11-18.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0186 Abstract + ( 310 )   HTML ( 5 )   PDF ( 1896KB )   ( 200 ) To objectively and accurately evaluate the utilization value of introduced cotton germplasm resources and provide excellent parents for new cotton varieties breeding, a total of 80 cotton germplasm resources were used in this study. Principal component analysis (PCA) and systematic cluster analysis were carried out based on 10 representative traits relating with yield, fiber quality and disease resistance. The results show that the values of the first four principal component features are all greater than 1, and the cumulative contribution rate reaches 76.893%. The first principal component is corresponding with fiber quality, the second principal component is corresponding with cotton yield, the third principal component is corresponding with disease resistance, and the fourth principal component is corresponding with fiber elongation. The 80 germplasm resources are divided into 6 major groups at the chi-square distance D = 2.15. The comprehensive characters of group I and group II are excellent, which are the same as those of group I in PCA scatter diagram, and they belong to high yield and good quality groups. Finally, 25 high-yield and high-quality resource materials are obtained by aggregating the same results of systematic cluster analysis group I, group II and PCA scatter diagram group I, which can expand breeding resources of the Institute of Cotton of Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences.

  Fungicides for Controlling Grey Mold in China: Registered Products, Present Situation and Suggestions Gu Lili, Chen Changjun, Chen Yongming, Ma Hongyu 2021, 11 (11):  19-26.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0116 Abstract + ( 421 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1360KB )   ( 327 ) Grey mold caused by Botrytis spp., is the second most devastating disease causing huge economic loss in agricultural production worldwide, and it has become more severe along with the rapid expansion of protected cultivation recently. Due to the lack of commercially disease-resistant varieties, chemical control is the most effective emergency measurement against the disease. However, Botrytis spp. has high resistance to single-target fungicides, posing a severe threat to field prevention and control, especially in some areas where the multiple resistance has been selected, even resulting in a challenge to selecting effective fungicides. To provide integrative information of registered fungicides for scientific researchers and pesticide users, the products, formulae, dosages and efficacy of registered fungicides for the disease in China were summarized, and the application technologies and potential resistance risks were reviewed. For registered fungicides, the problems in the application were pointed out, and suggestions were put forward for fungicide development against the disease, including gradually elimination of old fungicides and old formulae, and enhancing the registration of new-target fungicides, as well as expanding the registration scale of fungicides for small-scale crops.

It can improve the physical and chemical properties of soil, the crop growth and the quality of fruits and vegetables. There is a good correlation among soil, crop and microorganism, and the correlation has a positive role in the sustainable development of modern agriculture. In this paper, the research progress of microbial fertilizer, such as promoting the growth of vegetable crops, improving fruit quality, enhancing the resistance of vegetable crops and ameliorating the soil environment were reviewed, meanwhile the application prospects of microbial fertilizer were discussed.

  Bio-organic Fertilizers: Effects on Fresh Corn Yield, Soil Nutrients and Microbes Shi Lei, Zhang Ruijia 2021, 11 (11):  33-36.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0019 Abstract + ( 387 )   HTML ( 13 )   PDF ( 1227KB )   ( 243 ) To study the effects of bio-organic fertilizers on the yield of fresh corn, soil nutrients and microbe quantity, fresh corn 'Zhongke nuotian 99' was used as material, the agronomic traits and yield were investigated by field experiment, and the nutrient content and microbe quantity of soil were detected. The results showed that soil pH was significantly decreased by 4.9%-6.8% compared with the control, along with the application of bio-organic fertilizer. The soil nutrients were increased obviously, and the contents of organic matter, alkaline nitrogen, available P and available K were increased by 5.4%-9.8%, 4.9%-11.6%, 6.7%-19.2% and 4.9%-19.4% respectively. The number of soil microbes was also increased. The corn height, ear length, ear diameter, ear row number, single ear weight, kernel number per row and 100-seed weight were increased with the application of bio-organic fertilizer, and the yield were also increased by 8.5%-16.5% compared with the control. Bio-organic fertilizer not only increases the soil nutrients, the quantity of microbes and soil fertility, but also promotes the growth and yield of fresh corn.

  Effect of Different Fe Salt on Uptake of Heavy Metal by Chrysanthemum coronarium in Sewage Sludge Ding Hong, Guo Baoling, Zheng Xiangzhou, Zhang Yushu, Yu Juhua, Lian Shaoyong 2021, 11 (11):  37-40.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0040 Abstract + ( 258 )   HTML ( 8 )   PDF ( 1193KB )   ( 170 ) The study aims to verify the application effect of the improved sewage sludge on yield and heavy metal accumulation amount of crop, and provide reference for practical use of sludge. A pot experiment in the laboratory was conducted and seven different iron salt treatments were designed, to comparatively investigate the plant growth and five heavy metal accumulation amount in Chrysanthemum coronarium. The results showed that there was significant difference of dry matters of Chrysanthemum coronarium under deferent Fe salt treatments. The dry matter of CK, A, B and C treatments was 3.59-7.49 g/pot, and that of D, E and F was 11.75-19.27 g/pot, and the value of D was 5.3 times that of B. Under normal condition, heavy metal contents in sewage sludge were generally inferior to the National Standard of Mud of China. When sewage sludge was applied to Chrysanthemum coronarium, the accumulation amount of Cu, As, Pd and Cd in plant were lower than that in the Food Safety Standard of China, but Cr exceeded 4.98-6.66 times that of the standard. In summary, several heavy metals in Chrysanthemum coronarium have better enrichment effect after sludge application. Dry matter of Chrysanthemum coronarium could be largely improved under 3% ferric sulphate and 2% ferrous chloride, followed by 3%FeCl3 treatment.

Taking nitrogen-free treatment (CK) and common urea treatment (CU) as control, we studied the effects of urea with 1%-6% loss-control additive (typeⅠ-Ⅵ) on the yield and nitrogen use efficiency of summer maize. The results showed that: nitrogen fertilizer could significantly affect the yield and biomass of summer maize; with the same amount nitrogen, the concentration of loss-control additives significantly promoted the biomass of summer maize, the yield and biomass of summer maize were greatly improved by 4% loss-control additive; the average yield of summer maize under 4% loss-control additive (type Ⅳ) in 2016 and 2017 was increased by 7.80% compared with that of CU, while the average biomass was increased by 10.30%; the highest nitrogen uptake was observed at urea with 5% loss-control additive; the highest nitrogen use efficiency, nitrogen agronomic efficiency, nitrogen partial productivity were observed at 4% loss-control additive (type Ⅳ). In conclusion, urea with 4% loss-control additive could achieve the highest yield and nitrogen use efficiency of summer maize, the optimal addition concentration of loss-control additive in urea is 4.81% by fitting the loss-controlled urea and the yield of summer maize.

  Ecological Quality Variation of Vegetation in Fenghua from 2000 to 2018 Zheng Jian, Xu Rong, Zhu Xiaocui, Yang Yiman 2021, 11 (11):  48-53.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0289 Abstract + ( 254 )   HTML ( 4 )   PDF ( 2450KB )   ( 140 ) To study the multi-year change of the ecological quality of vegetation in Fenghua, the MODIS vegetation index and the meteorological observations from 2000 to 2018 were selected to calculate and analyze vegetation coverage, vegetation net primary productivity and ecological quality index of vegetation. The results showed that: (1) from 2000 to 2018, all the three indicators in Fenghua presented a trend of improving, with the average growth rate of 0.26%/a、1.7 g C/(m2·a) and 0.19/a, respectively, exceeding the 0.01 significance level except the net primary productivity of vegetation; (2) in 2018, the ecological quality of vegetation in Fenghua reached the highest level, but there were big differences among different regions, the vegetation coverage and vegetation net primary productivity in mountainous areas were significantly better than those in urban areas, the ecological quality of vegetation in Dayan, Xikou and Shangtian ranked as the top three; (3) the change of the vegetation ecological quality index was less affected by the annual precipitation after 2014, it might be related to the enhanced ecological protection and restoration; compared with 2005 when the “Two Mountains Theory” was first proposed, 90.0% of the regions achieved a positive increase in ecological quality index of vegetation in 2018, especially in mountainous areas. This study found that the ecological quality of vegetation in Fenghua has been improved since 2000, however, the spatial differences in eco-environmental quality are significant, the ecological quality of vegetation in some plain areas are getting worse, which needs enhanced protection.

Status of soil nutrients and the chemical quality of tobacco leaves were analyzed by descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The results show that the soil nutrient contents of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture have different status and the distribution is not balanced. Tobacco-growing soil pH is generally suitable and stable. The soil has moderately low soil organic matter and large range of available phosphorus variation. The content of alkali-hydrolyzale nitrogen is abundant, but the content of available potassium is insufficient. The contents of total sugar and reducing sugar are relatively high, but the contents of potassium and chlorine in tobacco leaves are relatively low. Within a certain range, there is a significant negative correlation between the contents of soil alkali-hydrolysable nitrogen and reducing sugar in tobacco leaves, meanwhile, the contents of available phosphorus content is significantly and negatively correlated with tobacco leaf total sugar and chlorine content, and significantly and positively correlated with tobacco leaf potassium content and potassium-chloride ratio. The potassium content of tobacco leaves is significantly and negatively correlated with soil pH, and significantly and positively correlated with soil organic matter. In the proper range of soil pH, pH and organic matter and soil nutrient have a greater impact on the chemical quality of tobacco leaves. In the proper range of organic matter, the correlation between soil nutrients and chemical components of tobacco leaves is not obvious. To improve the chemical quality of tobacco leaves in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, it is necessary to control nitrogenous fertilizer, balance phosphatic fertilizer and apply more potash fertilizer to reduce the contents of sugar in tobacco leaves.

To change the current situation of coal-fired heating for tobacco curing, the curing data of clean energy, including a biomass briquette fuel, air-source heating pump, gas fuel and alcohol-based fuel, collected from 8 large tobacco curing factories in 5 key tobacco-planting provinces for 2 years were analyzed comparing with coal combustion. And combined with the existing literature, the comprehensive economic benefits of different heating sources were studied. The results show that the curing cost of the air-source heating pump per batch each barn is slightly higher than that of coal-fired heating, which could be used as the best backup heating source for tobacco curing. And the gas fuel and alcohol-based fuel are not suitable for large-scale promotion at present because of their relatively high curing cost. The biomass pellet fuel could realize the recycling of tobacco wastes, which is the best alternative energy to coal fuel for tobacco curing at the present stage.

  Effects of Different Mixtures of Sesame Cake Fertilizer and Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer on Growth, Quality and Economic Benefit of Flue-cured Tobacco Chen Qianjin, Chi Guosheng, Yuan Shuai, Wu Huajian, Xu Lei, Shu Qinjing, Liu Wei 2021, 11 (11):  66-70.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0088 Abstract + ( 708 )   HTML ( 4 )   PDF ( 1214KB )   ( 187 ) By applying different mixtures of sesame cake fertilizer and chicken manure, the changes of quality and economic benefit of flue-cured tobacco were studied. The results showed that pure sesame cake fertilizer was not conducive to the early growth and rapid development of tobacco plants, the mature period was delayed, the growth period was extended, and the agronomic characteristics, economic benefits and chemical composition coordination were poor. In the experiment, 1125 kg/hm2 chicken manure organic fertilizer combined with 375 kg/hm2sesame cake fertilizer had the best effect, which could improve the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco, promote the growth of tobacco plant in the middle and later period, and increase the yield, output value, average price and ratio of high grade leaves. The application of sesame cake fertilizer could inhibit tobacco mosaic virus and tobacco bacterial wilt, and was harmful to control tobacco brown leaf spot.

  Influence of PCPA on Leaf Nitrogen Metabolism, Fruit Quality and Yield of Greenhouse Seedless Watermelon Zhang Xiaohong, Yan Zheng 2021, 11 (11):  71-75.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0236 Abstract + ( 236 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1158KB )   ( 135 ) Through the analysis of the nitrogen metabolism of leaves and the correlation between the nitrogen content and metabolic-related enzyme activities, and the determination of fruit quality and yield, the appropriate concentration of PCPA in the greenhouse cultivation of seedless watermelon was discussed, and some theoretical references on the application of PCPA in seedless watermelon cultivation was provided. Physiological indicators such as soluble protein, total nitrogen content, metabolic-related enzyme (GS, NR and GDH) activities, fruit quality and yield were measured in different treatments using PCPA solution of different mass concentrations (0, 10, 20, 40 mg/L) at beginning of flowering period, full flowering period and young fruit period of seedless watermelon. The results showed that: (1) with the increase of the concentration of PCPA, the change trend of soluble protein, total nitrogen content and GS, NR and GDH activity of the leaves first rise and then fall; when the concentration of PCPA was 20 mg/L, the promotion effect was the most obvious, soluble protein, total nitrogen content of leaves and GS, NR and GDH activity were all the highest, significantly higher than those of CK; when the concentration of PCPA was 40 mg/L, soluble protein, total nitrogen content and GS, NR and GDH activity of leaves were reduced rapidly, and the indicators were all significantly lower than those of 10 and 20 mg/L treatments; the correlation analysis of the indicators showed that there was a significant or extremely significant positive correlation between total nitrogen content and GS, NR and GDH activity of seedless watermelon leaves; (2) among all the treatments, 20 mg/L treatment had the highest fruit yield and soluble solids content, both significantly higher than those of CK. Therefore, the appropriate concentration of PCPA used in greenhouse cultivation of seedless watermelon could be 20 mg/L.

  Seedling Growth and Seedling Material Accumulation of Polygonatum cyrtonema Luo Xumei, Xu Zaoshi, Han Wenyan, Cheng Mingwei, Lan Wei, Ren Jie 2021, 11 (11):  76-80.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0007 Abstract + ( 303 )   HTML ( 11 )   PDF ( 1371KB )   ( 239 ) The germination of Polygonatum cyrtonema seeds is difficult, while the law of dry matter accumulation of P. cyrtonema seedlings is still not clear. To investigate the reproduction of P. cyrtonema, the authors studied the seed germination rate, germination vigor and the mass growth from 1 to 2 year stage. The results show that the germination rate and germination vigor are both over 80%. The sprouting time is long and the leaves generally grow out in next spring. 1 year-old seedlings belong to the leaf early and root later style, whereas the 2 year-old seedlings mostly display one leaf, seldom with 2 or 3 leaves. From the second year, the leaves grow faster than the root and tuber, but the proportion of the underground part is still relatively large, the tube yield ratio is over 69%, indicating that the tuber grow faster as photosynthesis strengthens.

Lactuca Satya L. was used as material, polysaccharides was extracted by water/ethanol method. The polysaccharide extraction process of Lactuca Satya L. was established by back propagation (BP) neural network and orthogonal design. The in vitro hypolipidemie of polysaccharide in Lactuca Satya L. was studied by in vitro binding of cholates. The optimal condition for Lactuca Satya L. polysaccharide extraction was at 89℃ with solvent amount of 44 times in 1.6 h and 4 extracting times. The polysaccharides in Lactuca Satya L. and their alcohol-precipitated fractions had better cholate binding capacity with sodium taurocholate (STC), glychocholic acid sodium salts (SGC), sodium cholate (SC). BP neural network combined with orthogonal test could reduce experiment times effectively, analyze the change rules of Lactuca Satya L. polysaccharide extraction factors, and obtain the optimal extraction parameters. The hypolipidemic mechanism of Lactuca Satya L. polysaccharide might be the combination of cholic acids in intestine, which affected the lipids absorption.

In order to understand the impact of DNA methylation on plant growth and development, this article summarizes plant DNA methylation patterns, concludes the physiological functions of plant DNA methylation, and reviews the research methods of DNA methylation. At last, this article sums up the problems in the study of plant DNA methylation and points out the research directions in the future, providing a theoretical basis for subsequent plant genome research.

At present, sweet potato is mainly processed into starch and starchy products. However, a large amount of by-product, sweet potato starch residue (SPSR), is produced simultaneously. Because of lacking effective recycling methods, the discarded SPSR has led to environmental pollution in rural areas. This situation has become one of the main limiting factors of the sustainable development of sweet potato starch processing industry. In order to explore appropriate recycling way of SPSR, the value-added utilization of basic components in SPSR such as starch, fiber, pectin, protein and other components were summarized, including the key technologies, main products and application effects. Then, we suggested that secondary pollution in the recycling of SPSR should be avoided, biorefinery of whole biomass of SPSR should be developed, soluble dietary fiber in SPSR should be paid more attention to, and the dependent technologies such as fresh-keeping technique for SPSR should be developed to promote the utilization of fresh SPSR which contains high quality of water.

Constructing the national agricultural and rural personnel information service platform is an effective way to enhance the information construction of rural human resource work. This paper introduces the basic principles for constructing the national agricultural and rural personnel information service platform, and expounds the main functions provided by the platform from the aspects of classified storage, classified collection, evaluation and identification, dynamic management, and service development. To improve the information service quality for agricultural and rural talents, this paper puts forward suggestions aiming at the weak types of talents by making full use of the advantages of the platform resources.

Relevant data of kiwifruit e-commerce marketing over the years were collected through Internet and other methods. According to these data, kiwifruit geographic information database is established. It combines geographic data spatial analysis and visualization technology of geographic information system to conduct intelligent analysis and deep mining of kiwifruit marketing big data. Through this method, the detailed statistics, analysis and overview of marketing data can be realized and the supply and demand situation of each regional market can be accurately predicted. Feedback the relevant information to the growers in time can help them make a reasonable planting plan, and at the same time adjust the kiwi planting plan according to the actual situation. Growers can develop precision marketing strategies for different seasons, regions, demands and varieties to meet the diversified needs of the market. It can effectively prevent the phenomenon of unsalable products and improve the economic benefits of growers.

  New Species of Bamboo Subfamily Discovered in China from 2010 to 2019 Li Ying, Wei Xiaoping, Yu Yinglong, Zhou Wencai, Zhan Hongping 2021, 11 (11):  112-117.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0127 Abstract + ( 284 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1264KB )   ( 285 ) By analyzing recently published articles (from 2010 to 2019) concerning new genus and new species of Bambusoideae plants, the authors aim to explicit the details of Bambusoideae plants in China. Data sources covered major books and articles published in the field of bamboo plants. Uncertain information is not used for the analysis. All information related to the names of genera, species and Latin presented in this paper are based on Iconographia Bambusoidearum Sinicarum and the original reference. Iconographia Bambusoidearum Sinicarum and Iconographia Bambusoidearum Sinicarum Ⅱ are currently the most comprehensive data source for Chinese bamboo plants, among which plants that originally from China include 38 genera and 728 species, 53 varieties and 114 variants, 4 hybrids, in total of 899 species and species taxa. There are 17 genera, 23 species, 3 varieties, 20 variants, and 46 species and sub taxa. From 2010 to 2019, domestic scholars in related field reported new species of bamboo including 12 new genera, 13 species, 1 variety and 10 variants, 24 species and subspecies in total. Up to 2020, there are 740 species, 54 varieties, 124 variants and 5 hybrid species in 40 genera of the original bamboo subfamily in China, with a total of 923 species and the following taxa (excluding introductive and cultivated ones).

  Optimal Layout of Planting Industry Based on Cultivated Land Quality and Comparative Advantage of Crops: A Case Study of Wuxiang County, Shanxi Province Guo Jiajun, Li Qian 2021, 11 (11):  118-124.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2021-0074 Abstract + ( 267 )   HTML ( 2 )   PDF ( 1385KB )   ( 225 ) To continuously build the internal quality of cultivated land, improve its comprehensive production capacity, explore the productive potential and the yield increasing potential of crops, and provide reference for the structural adjustment of planting industry, this paper took Wuxiang County of Shanxi Province as an example to optimize the layout of planting industry. Firstly, the distribution of cultivated land quality in Wuxiang County was analyzed, including the general situation of cultivated land resources, the quality grade of cultivated land and the topographic condition in each township. Then the change of the year-on-year growth of crop yield per unit area in Wuxiang County from 2015 to 2019 was examined. The comprehensive comparative advantage index method was used to calculate and study the production scale advantage index, production efficiency advantage index and comprehensive comparative advantage index of millet, corn, sorghum, soybean, potato, vegetable, oil plants, medicinal materials, jujube, watermelon, walnut and apricot in comparison with same crops in other parts of China. Finally, by making full use of the production conditions of cultivated land quality in different regions of Wuxiang County and the calculation results of the comparative advantage of millet, corn, sorghum, potato, medicinal materials, apricot and walnut in the whole country, the layout strategy was adjusted. Three major planting industry layouts were worked out for Wuxiang County, namely, “the efficient and comprehensive cluster area, the characteristic and quality demonstration area and the development and protection area”, thus to establish the high quality and high efficiency planting industry base and cluster. By transforming the advantage of cultivated land quality and the comparative advantage of crops into economic advantage, the optimum planting pattern of “expanding the scale advantage, ensuring the yield advantage and strengthening the quality advantage” was constructed to improve the grain yield, highlight the characteristic varieties, and increase the agricultural income.
