Abstract: The paper aims to study the influence of landing typhoon on Precipitation in Chenzhou and provide some useful references for climate prediction and meteorological disaster prevention.The author analyzed the typhoons precipitation in Chenzhou from different aspects during 1959-2011. The results showed that the domain period was from July to September, especially in August. Annual typhoon precipitation gradually decreased from the southeast to northwest in Chenzhou, and the primary precipitation was in the middle of Chenzhou. Typhoon landed in Guangzhou produced more precipitation in the west of Chenzhou, while typhoon landed in Fujian mainly affected the middle of Chenzhou.
