  Hybrids Screening from Combinations of Middle-late Maturing Grain Sorghum Yao Yanhui, Zhao Xingkui, Peng Suotang, Duan Yonghong 2021, 11 (1):  1-6.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20191100259 Abstract + ( 447 )   HTML ( 12 )   PDF ( 1250KB )   ( 580 ) To breed high-quality and middle-late maturing grain sorghum, the authors used single-factor randomized block design, took the hybrids of four different sorghum combinations as test materials, to analyze the difference of agronomic traits and yield traits and screen the best combination of middle-late maturing grain sorghum. There were difference of the growing period of hybrids from tested combinations, but the difference was not obvious, the hybrid sorghum combination 23A×014-52 had the longest growing period about 134 days, the hybrid sorghum combination of 147A×014-34 had the shortest growing period of 123 days; the agronomic traits of sorghum combination 23A×014-52 were relatively good; the yield of the combination 23A×014-52 and 27A×017-95 were higher compared with that of control, and the yield of the combination 23A×014-52 was 30.06% higher than that of control. Considering the analysis of agronomic traits and yield traits, the sorghum combination 23A×014-52 has strong heterosis and could be used as parent material for cultivating middle-late maturing grain sorghum.

In recent years, low temperature damage has frequently occurred and could not be predicted, which is not conducive to the stable production of soybean and severely restrict the sustainable development of soybean industry. This paper introduces the research progress of cold damage on soybean production and measures of preventing and controlling the damage, including reasonable rotation, variety selection, seed selection and processing, suitable date of planting, reasonable cultivation, balanced fertilization and proper chemical regulation and control. The objective of the study is to provide technical support for stable soybean production and prevention and control of cold damage.

  Detection of the Rice Blast Resistance Genes Pita and pik in Heilongjiang: HRM Functional Markers Guo Zhenhua, Huang Cuihong, Luo Wenlong, Huang Xiaoqun, Wang Ruiying, Chen Zhiqiang, Guan Shiwu, Zhang Shuhua, Cai Lijun 2021, 11 (1):  11-16.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20190900197 Abstract + ( 519 )   HTML ( 10 )   PDF ( 1305KB )   ( 374 ) To clarify the distribution of Pita gene and pik gene in rice germplasm resources of Heilongjiang, 67 major varieties and excellent germplasm resources were used as materials with HRM (high resolution melting) technology. 67 materials were used for genotyping analysis by Pita-G/T and Pik2-C/T of Pita and pik HRM-based functional markers. The results showed that, among the 67 germplasm resources, 27 germplasm resources contained the homozygous gene Pita (40.3% of the total number), 22 germplasm resources contained the homozygous gene pik (32.9% of the total number) and 12 germplasm resources contained both of the two homozygous genes (17.9% of the total number). Based on the results, the functional markers Pita-G/T and Pik2-C/T could be efficiently and accurately used in rice genotyping in Heilongjiang, meanwhile, through genotyping the materials in this research, we clarified the distribution of those two genes in Heilongjiang, which provided a theoretical basis for rice blast resistance breeding.

  Characteristics of Soil Organic Carbon Fractions of Main Agricultural Soils in Mid-subtropical Areas Yuan Hong, Li Han, Zhang Liang, Duan Liangxia, Huang Yunxiang, Wang Hui 2021, 11 (1):  17-21.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20190800173 Abstract + ( 466 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1319KB )   ( 331 ) In main agricultural regions of mid-subtropical zone, to understand soil fertility status, the authors studied the content and accumulation characteristics of soil organic carbon components by field sampling and indoor analysis. The results showed that: the content of organic carbon (SOC) in purple soil was the highest, while the red soil had low organic matter content and the fertility level was not high. The variation tendency of soil easily oxidized organic carbon (EOC) was consistent with SOC. Light fraction organic carbon (LFOC), coarse particulate organic carbon(CPOC), fine particulate organic carbon(FPOC) had the largest proportion in red soil, river tidal soil and rice soil, respectively, which were related to soil parent material and development age. Under different utilizing ways, the content of SOC in tea garden was the highest. The sequence of SOC was tea garden > corn field > rice-rape field > cotton field > vegetable garden. The value of EOC/SOC in tea garden was 36.85%, which indicated that the soil organic carbon was stable. The value of EOC/SOC of other agricultural soils changed a little, ranging from 22.48% to 25.52%, with an average value of 23.44%. LFOC and CPOC were more sensitive to land use change than SOC, and were significantly affected by SOC, CEC, NO3--N and NH4+-N (P<0.01).

  Soil Nutrient Changes in Field Vegetable Base in Tonghai from 2004 to 2015 Mu Chan, Huang Cuiju, Qian Rongqing, Li Hongyang, Yao Zhaobing, Yang Shaocong, Li Jiayou, Zhang Yanjun, Hu Xuanjiang 2021, 11 (1):  22-26.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20191000222 Abstract + ( 418 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1269KB )   ( 270 ) To find out the changes of nutrient content of field vegetable base in Tonghai County from 2004 to 2015, and provide references for rational fertilization, a comparative analysis was conducted with field sampling and laboratory testing. The results showed that in 2015, the soil pH of Tonghai field vegetable base was 7.57, with an average organic matter content of 43.8 g/kg. The effective N average content was 170 mg/kg, the proportion of field>151 mg/kg was 67.5%; the average effective P of soil was 111.2 mg/kg, and the proportion of field>50 mg/kg was 92.4%; the average effective K of soil was 194 mg/kg, and the proportion of field >151 mg/kg was 54.7%; the average exchange Ca was 19238 mg/kg, and the proportion of field>5001 mg/kg was 97.9%; the average exchange Mg was 908 mg/kg, the proportion of field >150 mg/kg was 100%. Compared with those of 2004, pH increased by 0.13, organic matter increased by 15.8%, effective N increased by 20.1%, effective P increased by 66.6%, effective K decreased by 13.4%, exchange Ca increased by 186.2%, and exchange Mg increased by 16.1%. It indicated that the nutrient concentration of soil N, P, Ca and Mg in the cultivated layer of soil in Tonghai field vegetable bases was relatively high, while the content of K was relatively low. Therefore, it is necessary to control N and reduce P, and supplement K appropriately, to balance fertilization and strictly control the use of lime in vegetable fertilization.

In this paper, three major desalination technologies for coastal saline soil based on the concept of salt balance index were summarized, including leaching by rainwater and brackish water, reducing salt accumulation in root zone by preventing capillary rise of groundwater, and biological desalting technology. In the practice of beach desalting and soil improvement, Jiangsu Province has formed its own technical system of desalination of coastal beach with the integration of the three technologies, including amelioration of saline soil by fish farming in mudflat pond, paddy cultivation by irrigation of brackish water, dry farming with straw mulching, and afforestation under straw mulching. It is expected that these technologies will provide effective technical support for the development and utilization of coastal tidal flat resources in Jiangsu Province.

  Film of Different Thickness: Effect on Residual and Recovery of Waste Film and Selection Yu Xianfeng, Zhao Jijun, Ma Mingsheng 2021, 11 (1):  32-36.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20190800157 Abstract + ( 612 )   HTML ( 19 )   PDF ( 1056KB )   ( 542 ) The research on the residual and recovery of mulch film with different thickness was summarized based on the existing research literatures, and the selection of mulch film was discussed to provide references for the coordinated development of agricultural production and environmental protection. The results showed that residual of different thickness films varied from crop to crop, the thicker the mulch film, the lower the residual amount. After reaching a certain thickness, the difference of residual amount was not significant, but after a certain thickness, the residual amount increased due to the increase residual quality per unit area. The use of thick mulch film could effectively improve the film recyclability, but the difference of recovery rate was not significant after the film reached a certain thickness. Mechanized recycling was the trend in the future, in addition to film strength, the influence of film thickness should draw more attention. In agricultural production, the selection of thin or thick film was both inappropriate, the thickness recommended by most scholars was between 0.008 and 0.012 mm, the specific effect between the film cover and the ecological benefit should be considered.

  Plastic Film Mulching Hole-planting Patterns: Effect on Grain Filling Characteristics and Water Use Efficiency of Setaria italica and Panicum miliaceum L. Kernels Li Wanbin, Dai Lijun, Li Yongping 2021, 11 (1):  37-43.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0111 Abstract + ( 446 )   HTML ( 5 )   PDF ( 1370KB )   ( 322 ) This paper aims to provide a theoretical basis for planting Setaria italica and Panicum miliaceum L. under plastic film mulching hole-planting patterns in the arid region of southern Ningxia through studying the growth characteristics, filling character and water use efficiency (WUE) of crops. In the study, five mulching hole-planting patterns were set up: water-permeable plastic-film mulch, traditional plastic-film mulch, degradable plastic-film mulch, only mulching of ridge with plastic film + hole-planting in furrow, and no covered hole-planting (CK). The method of field location test combined with laboratory analysis was adopted. The yield-increasing effects of different mulching hole-planting patterns on Setaria italica and Panicum miliaceum L. were ranked as follows: water-permeable plastic-film mulch> traditional plastic-film mulch > only mulching of ridge with plastic film + hole-planting in furrow > degradable plastic-film mulch > no covered hole-planting (CK). Compared with CK, the yield of mulching hole-planting pattern of Setaria italica and Panicum miliaceum L. was increased by 48.4%-66.5% and 53.9%-70.3%, respectively, and the WUE was increased by 58.1%-80.6% and 31.9%-55.9%, respectively, the filling rate of main spike was 0.89-1.01 g/d and 0.34-0.39 g/d, respectively, 41.3%-60.3% and 36.0%-56.0% higher than that of CK. Under the mulching hole-planting and CK, the time entering the active filling stage was about 24 d and 30 d after heading, respectively, the filling termination period was 6 d earlier than that of CK. In summary, the patterns of water-permeable plastic-film mulch and only mulching of ridge with plastic film+ hole-planting in furrow are more suitable for Setaria italica and Panicum miliaceum L. in the arid region of southern Ningxia. In the context of water deficit, paying attention to the management of water and fertilizer in jointing stage and filling stage is the key measure to achieve high yield.

  Climate Carrying Capacity in Ecological Conservation Area of Western Beijing: A Preliminary Study Yang Yuanhui, Cheng Chen, Li Chao, Fu Lei, Zhang Weiqi 2021, 11 (1):  44-50.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20191200298 Abstract + ( 596 )   HTML ( 9 )   PDF ( 1882KB )   ( 322 ) Based on historical meteorological observation data, satellite remote sensing image data, and the influence of altitude and terrain differences, we used ArcGIS spatial analysis to study the basic situation of climate resources and risk division of major meteorological disasters of ecological conservation area in western Beijing, comprehensively evaluated its climate carrying capacity of climate resources, aiming to provide meteorological references for constructing ecological conservation area, optimizing the protection of resources, and developing ecological tourism. The results show that: (1) in the western Beijing ecological conservation area, the probability of severe cold and extreme heat is relatively low, mountain areas are more suitable for summer tourism; (2) the overall cumulative rainfall is moderate, rain-induced disasters are relatively few, and the habitability is good; (3) ecological conservation area has great potential for climate production and high potential and value for the development of ecological agricultural resources; (4) most of the time in summer, the human body feels comfortable, the whole year travel comfortable period is long, and the area has advantages of climate conditions for leisure, summer, and ecological tourism; (5) the high temperature disaster risk is relatively low, and the area is suitable for building a livable and touring resort, truly practicing the concept of “green mountains is golden mountains” and creating regional economic value; (6) the risk level of waterlogging in the eastern plain is relatively high, so precautions should be taken in advance to avoid the risk in time; the risk level of debris flow is high in deep mountains of central and western areas, so the prevention and control should be strengthened and the hidden risks should be investigated ahead of time to mitigate the disasters in a scientific way.

The genetic relationship between Shushanggan apricot and other apricot varieties (types) were identified from different DNA levels. The genetic relationship of apricot varieties (types) were analyzed by clustering. The results showed that Shushanggan apricot had two different varieties, namely Shushanggan apricot No.1 and Shushanggan apricot No.2. Shushanggan apricot No.4 and Shushanggan apricot No.1 were the same type. The close genetic relationship to Shushanggan apricot No.1 was Gongliu wild apricot> pearl oil apricot> Disishi 61 Tuan ancient apricot, the genetic similarity coefficient ranged from 0.673 to 0.808. Shushanggan apricot No.3 and Shushanggan apricot No.2 were the same type, and they were closely related to Liguang apricot, the genetic similarity coefficient ranged from 0.654 to 0.846. Huocheng wild apricot was far related to Shushanggan apricot.

  Dynamic Changes of Endogenous Hormones in Leaves of Phalaenopsis amabilis During Flower Forcing Process Ma Xiaohua, Liu Hongjian, Zhang Qingliang, Hu Qingdi, Qian Renjuan 2021, 11 (1):  57-61.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0135 Abstract + ( 862 )   HTML ( 16 )   PDF ( 1237KB )   ( 800 ) To study the dynamic changes of endogenous hormones of Phalaenopsis amabilis ‘Green Bear’ during the process of flower induction, the healthy and mature P. amabilis ‘Green Bear’ of 2 years was used as the test material to determine the contents of auxin (IAA), gibberellin (GA), abscisic acid (ABA) and zeatin riboside (ZR) at 0, 15, 30 and 45 days of the flower bud differentiation stage, the stalk period, the bud period and florescence. The results showed that during the flower bud differentiation period 15-45 d, IAA and GA decreased significantly, and reached the lowest value during the flower bud differentiation period at 45 d, IAA and GA rise rapidly during the stem picking period and reached the maximum at 95 d, which were higher than the IAA and GA content in other periods greatly, and then both decreased from 195 to 240 days during flowering period. ABA and ZR increased significantly at the flower bud differentiation period 15 d, and the ABA content decreased during the stemming period, while ZR did not change significantly, and then both increased in the budding stage and the flowering stage from 0 to 45 days, then reached the highest value at flowering stage 240 d, respectively, which were 3.2 times and 2.97 times as much as the content at flower bud differentiation stage 0 d. Therefore, it is concluded that the changes of endogenous hormones play a significant role in regulating the development of the floral organs and flower bud differentiation of P. amabilis ‘Green Bear’. Low concentrations of IAA, GA and high levels of ABA and ZR can promote the differentiation of the flower buds of P. amabilis ‘Green Bear’, while high concentrations of IAA, GA and ZR are conducive to the pedicel elongation of the P. amabilis ‘Green Bear’.

  Determination of Etoxazole and Acetamiprid Residue in Citrus maxima ‘Guanxi miyou’ and Effect of Bagging on Residues Hu Yuxian 2021, 11 (1):  62-66.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas2020-0162 Abstract + ( 491 )   HTML ( 6 )   PDF ( 1272KB )   ( 476 ) To evaluate the safety of etoxazole and acetamiprid in Citrus maxima ‘Guanxi miyou’ and the effect of bagging on residues, a study on the residual degradation dynamics of etoxazole and acetamiprid was carried out. A field experiment was conducted on Citrus maxima ‘Guanxi miyou’, two dosages were sprayed in bagging and non-bagging treatments, and then the residue was determined by QuEChERS combining with HPLC-MS/MS. The results showed that the residual degradation dynamics of etoxazole and acetamiprid followed the first-order kinetic equation, the half-life (T1/2) of etoxazole was 5.30-5.47 d in the bagging treatment, and 4.34-4.54 d in the non-bagging. T1/2 of acetamiprid was 3.42-3.80 d in the bagging treatment, and 3.04-3.70 d in the non-bagging. T1/2 of etoxazole was a little longer in the bagging treatment, but the T1/2 of acetamiprid had no obvious difference between the bagging and non-bagging treatment. The residues of etoxazole and acetamiprid in Citrus maxima ‘Guanxi miyou’ were not detected on the 65th day after spraying.

  Multivariate Analysis of Major Components and Free Nicotine Content in Oral Tobacco Zhang Pingquan, Xu Aifei 2021, 11 (1):  67-70.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20190500020 Abstract + ( 683 )   HTML ( 12 )   PDF ( 1173KB )   ( 317 ) To investigate the effect of major components of oral tobacco on free nicotine content, 41 Moist Snuff oral smokeless tobacco products were investigated by the correlation analysis, regression analysis and path analysis. (1) The correlation analysis results showed that the pH value and nicotine content were positively correlated with free nicotine content and their correlation coefficient was at 1% significant level and 5% level respectively, while the water content had no significant correlation with free nicotine content. (2) The multivariate linear regression equation reached an extremely significant level, indicating that there was a strong correlation between the water content, pH value, nicotine content and free nicotine content. (3) The path analysis results showed that the degree of direct influence on the free nicotine content was in the order as the nicotine content > pH value> water content, the pH value and nicotine content were positively correlated with free nicotine content, while the water content was negatively correlated with free nicotine content. (4) The water content and nicotine content had large indirect effects on free nicotine content through pH value, and they had positive and negative effects on the free nicotine content respectively. (5) The pH value had a large indirect and negative effect on free nicotine through nicotine. So, the content of free nicotine could be increased by increasing the content of nicotine or increasing the pH value of oral smokeless tobacco products.

  Effect of Biological Activity of Boscalid on Sclerotinia sclerotiorum of Sunflower Zhang Haiyang, Li Haiyan, Meng Qinglin, He Chaoqun, Pan Wenhan, Xu Jingyu 2021, 11 (1):  71-74.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20191000226 Abstract + ( 578 )   HTML ( 13 )   PDF ( 1267KB )   ( 293 ) The aims are to clarify the effect of the new fungicide boscalid on the biological activity of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, and provide a scientific basis for its promotion and application. In this research, we used the hyphae, spores and sclerotia as test samples. Bioassay method was used to confirm the effect of boscalid on mycelial growth, spore germination and sclerotia formation of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. The results showed that the mycelial growth rate of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum treated with boscalid was inhibited; the EC50 was 0.2152 μg/mL. With the increase of germicide concentration, the mycelial growth of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum decreased significantly. When the concentration was 16.667μg/mL, the inhibition rate of sclerotia formation of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum reached 84.62%, and the inhibition rate of total dry weight of sclerotia formation of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum reached 61.07%. The result of spore germination test showed that the germination of ascospores was inhibited after being treated with boscalid, and the EC50 was 0.056 μg/mL. The inhibition rate of spore germ tube elongation reached 78.15% at the concentration of 0.267 μg/mL. The boscalid not only inhibits the mycelial growth of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, but also reduces the invasion of ascospores, and prevents the germ cells formed by the germination of ascospores from infecting the plant tissues continuously, which effectively reduces the residual amount of sclerotia in field soil. It has a very broad prospect for the prevention and treatment of sunflower sclerotinia, and can be used as a rotation agent for controlling sunflower sclerotinia in field.

  Analysis of the National Science and Technology Awards in the Field of Agriculture in 2001-2018 Wang Meng, Liu Tao, Chen Tianjin, Zheng Chuangmu 2021, 11 (1):  75-79.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas20200200021 Abstract + ( 544 )   HTML ( 8 )   PDF ( 1167KB )   ( 360 ) The paper aims to analyze the progress of agricultural science and technology innovation, adopting the scientometrics method based on the National Science and Technology Awards in the field of agriculture in 2001-2018. The result showed that the number of the Science and Technology Progress Awards accounted for more than 80% of the total number of awards, and the number of the Natural Science Awards and the Technology Innovation Awards increased on a yearly basis. The awards covered 13 first-class disciplines, and the number of awards related to crop science accounted for a predominant percentage of 23.25% of the total number of awards. With regard to the first authorship, the research organizations at the national level and colleges and universities accounted for 72.88% of all awards, and enterprises were still far from becoming the main body of technology innovation. Young and middle-aged groups won 63.16% of the awards, and only 17.74% of the awards were won by group under the age of 45. The study shows that greater incentives are still needed to encourage and support young talents to carry out innovative research.

  Effect of Supplementary Lights on Strawberry Production in Greenhouse Cheng Fangfang, Li Hongwei, Yu Hui, Liu Weibin, Li Hao, Li Rong 2021, 11 (1):  80-84.  DOI: 10.11923/j.issn.2095-4050.cjas19040025 Abstract + ( 791 )   HTML ( 15 )   PDF ( 1581KB )   ( 617 ) During winter and early spring, sunlight deficiency greatly influences the yield and quality of strawberry in Henan Province, mainly resulting from less sunshine weathers such as cloud, rain, snow, fog, haze and so on. In this study, the high pressure sodium lamp and the LED lighting were selected for supplementary light test in a strawberry production base. The effects of different ways of light supplement on vegetative growth, chlorophyll content, yield and fruit sugar content of strawberry were observed. The results showed that the two ways of light supplement had effect on temperature increase in greenhouse, and the effect of high pressure sodium lamp was more obvious. There was no significant effect of the two light sources on strawberry plant height, leaf length and leaf width. Both light sources had significant effect on increasing the chlorophyll content of strawberry plants, which reached extremely significant level compared with the control. The soluble solid content of strawberry was higher than that of the control after light supplement with two light sources, and the effect was more significant with high pressure sodium lamp.

Based on the aggregation and diffusion effect of the growth pole theory, Wuxiang County and Xiaoyi City were taken as the research objects to construct the spatial layout of agricultural industry with different development modes. The spatial layout of agricultural industry was divided into the spatial layout of prominent location advantage and leading industry, the spatial layout of industrial chain as an important support, the spatial layout of industrial park or base as the carrier, and the spatial layout of agricultural industry strong town as the carrier. The development strategy was made to highlight regional advantages and leading industries to create typical brands with regional characteristics, strengthen characteristics to create three-dimensional industrial chain development, gather strength in the park or base to expand the quality and efficiency of the industry, and seek optimal plan to promote linkage development mode step by step. From the perspective of its development and inheritance, this paper discusses the historical route, manufacturing process, characteristics and medicinal- economic value of the wood-pressed brown sugar of Lameng Town by carrying out literature review and field research, and identifies the constraining factors and associated issues. The results show that the local government and social groups can take initiatives to revitalize the wood-pressed brown sugar industry by establishing intangible cultural heritage promotion institutions, introducing and cultivating production entities, promoting traditional manufacturing craft innovation, breeding distinctive product trademarks, enhancing employee training and building a sound logistics network, which could promote the high-quality development and inheritance of the wood-pressed brown sugar under the context of Internet+, and increase the income of local farmers, and revitalize the rural economy.

Through the field observation and in-depth interview, the "snowball" survey method has found that the existing talent training system has achieved results in industrial income increase, capacity enhancement, and participation enthusiasm. At the same time, there are also problems such as single training channels and unreasonable training content planning, insufficient participation and lack of follow-up guidance. On this basis, the authors put forward suggestions on improving farmers' awareness of participation in training and social support and assistance, to promote the training system and the development of the industry.
