Abstract:

Triterpenes are one of the main active chemical components in Ganoderma, and it has become the hotspot in current research due to multiple physiological activities. In order to provide a reference for the liquid submerged fermentation regulation of Ganoderma triterpenes and large-scale production, we focus on the recent latest research of Ganoderma triterpenes produced by fermentation engineering. In addition, the progress of the detection method of triterpenes, fermentation technology, fermentation kinetics, and the triterpenes biosynthesis pathway was reviewed. On this basis, the problems in research were as follows: we had not screened Ganoderma triterpenes strains systematically suitable for the fermentation production, we lacked the study of triterpenes chemical constitution and pharmacological activity, there was only less study on the Ganoderma triterpenes large-scale production by fermentation, and we lacked the production engineering of Ganoderma triterpenes optimized by activity tracking. At last, the progress was forecasted.
