Abstract:

The study aims to determine the suitable density and ridge planting methods of Psammosilene tunicoides. The orthogonal design L16(43) was used to study the effects of furrow width(A), ridge width(B) and density (C) on the yield and quality of P. tunicoides. The results show that different densities and ridge planting methods have different effects on the yield and quality of P. tunicoides. The effect of the three factors on the root yield is in an order of C, A and B, and the effect on the quality is C, B and A, respectively. Taking both the yield and quality into consideration, the best ridge planting method of P. tunicoides is as follows: furrow width of 20-30 cm, ridge width of 60-80 cm, density of 8 cm×10 cm or 8 cm×15 cm.

Key words: Psammosilene tunicoides, orthogonal design, furrow width, ridge width, density, optimal combination
