  Comparison of the Characters of Varieties in Upland Cotton in Three Main Growing Areas during 1978-2007 2014, 4 (2):  1-6.  Abstract + ( 1164 )   PDF ( 1412KB )   ( 1157 ) The database was constructed based on the Flora of cotton varieties in China (1978-2007) and official variety registration announcement.. It collected 839 cotton varieties (Gossypium hirsutum) with 14 agronomic trait such as growth period, plant height, sympodial branch nod, boll weight, lint percentage, lint yield and fiber quality, which authorized and promoted in Yangtze River, Yellow River and Northwestern inland cotton production zone, The statistical analysis demonstrated that the difference of fiber length, lint percentage, growth period, micronaire and boll weight was not significant among varieties in three major cotton production zones; But the difference of fusarium wilt resistance, verticillium wilt resistance, leaf color and planting density was significant. Varieties with highest fusarium wilt resistance and verticillium wilt resistance of varieties were from Northwestern production zone, and the lowest were from Yangtze River production zone. The planting density was highest in Northwestern zone, followed by Yellow River zone and Yangtze River zone; the fiber strength was highest in Northwestern zone, followed by Yangtze River zone and Yellow River zone, and the different varieties presented significant difference in the same production zone. The fiber yield showed the same law as fiber strength. Therefore, this study suggested that varieties with good fiber quality were more suitable developed in northwestern cotton production zone, especially in Xinjiang province, and more disease resistant varieties should be developed in Yangtze River cotton production zone.

  The Empirical Analysis on the Current Situation of Wheat Production in Shandong Province 2014, 4 (2):  7-11.  Abstract + ( 1008 )   PDF ( 1820KB )   ( 1788 ) In order to promote modern agriculture development of Shandong Province and guide the wheat production, it is analyzed and discussed in the paper for the total production of wheat, the yield of per unit area, planting area, change trend of recent 30 years, spatial distribution and its science and technology supporting elements, by adopting the research methods of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that, due to the influence of spatial distribution and the investment of science and technology, although the wheat planting area was gradually reducing, the total production changed a little for much of these productivity gains. So it was concluded that the spatial distribution should be made the proper adjustments, planting area should be stabilized at a certain level, investment in agricultural science and technology should be further increased, single production level of wheat should be gradually raised, and so the wheat safety in Shandong would indeed be fulfilled.

  Recipe Screening of Complex Drought Tolerance Agent 2014, 4 (2):  16-20.  Abstract + ( 970 )   PDF ( 1361KB )   ( 1240 ) In order to increase crop drought tolerance and crop yield, the author conducted screening of 16 complex drought tolerance agents in wheat basing on seed germination, young seedling and heading stages with indexes, such as seed germinating energy, germination percentage, dry matter weight, chlorophyllose fluorescent parameters and yield. The results showed that: Kh-13 and Kh-1 were better agents, they increased seed germination and dry matter weight, improved drought tolerance and photosynthesis, increased wheat yield. Compared with control, Kh-13 and Kh-1 increased seed germinating energy by 2.00 and 1.66 times, germination percentage by 50% and 50%, shoot weight increased by 12.33% and 11.42%, root weight increased by 19.13% and 13.0%, relative leaf water content improved 23.53% and 37.78%, grains/spike increased by 22.36% and 17.30%, yield increased by 38.48% and 20.78%, respectively.

In order to study during the growth of summer maize in Puyang drought, floods and other weather disasters on the growth and yield of the, study of drought, flood prevention measures; This paper made a systematic analysis on Puyang in 1953-2012, nearly 60 years of drought, floods and other weather disasters, and discussed the influence of different degree of the disaster on the growth and yield of summer maize. The results showed that, the drought and flood disasters on summer maize growth and yield harm was bigger, tend to affect the summer maize yield abundant, owe. Puyang 60 years 1953-2012 corn yield typical climate owe a total of 19 years, which affected by drought and years of production had 12 years, affected by the flooding year for seven years. Puyang summer corn "drought and waterlogging disasters mitigation defense technology was mainly to disasters preventing and resisting, subtract, fill". Raising our every generationquality varieties, still should be adopted timely early sowing, ridge tillage cultivation and intertillage farming practices and management measures, such as digging. In order to extend the corn growth period, to accumulate more nutrients, increase sunlight hours, thus reducing the disaster effect on maize growth and yield. And targeted to strengthen the monitoring, early warning of meteorological disasters and drought and defense, In order to ensure the summer corn production safety, and provides a powerful reference for disaster prevention and mitigation.

  The Influence of Density on Yield of ‘Zhengdan988’ Maize 2014, 4 (2):  25-28.  Abstract + ( 1213 )   PDF ( 1252KB )   ( 2159 ) In order to find the most suitable density of new corn variety ‘Zhengdan988’, a filed experiment was designed with 8 kinds of densities, and the traits of plant and grain yield and its components were analyzed .The influence of densities on growth and yield of ‘Zhengdan988’ was studied. Leaf area per plant and dry matter accumulation per plant were dropped by densities increasing. The results showed that: leaf area index and dry matter accumulation were increased by densities increasing and dropped by high densities. The yield was increased first and then decreased by densities increasing. The results showed that the suitable planting density of ‘Zhengdan988’ was 6.0×104-6.75×104 /hm2.

  Summer Maize Region 'Longping206' Technical Specification of High Yield Planting in the South Areas of the Yellow River, Huai and Hai Rivers Plain 2014, 4 (2):  29-33.  Abstract + ( 1301 )   PDF ( 1567KB )   ( 1578 ) This technical specification is based on ecological and climatic conditions and technology based on the Huaihe River in Huaibei, in order to further the main maize varieties production of the 'Longping206' common key technology research, integration of the South Areas of the Yellow River, Huai and Hai Rivers Plain summer maize high yield and high efficiency measures and technical standards, the 'Longping206' in the area of technical specification of high yield planting technology, in order to provide theoretical basis for the and supporting technology system as the main producing areas in Huaibei province corn I. The two times general revolving combination design and computer simulation and optimization method, the optimization of cultivation techniques of high yield in 3 years and create application, discusses the key factor in maize cultivation - density, N, K and yield regression relationship. The study results showed that: 'Longping206' high-yield group yield structure index was: harvested plants 60000-75000 plant per hm2; 500-650 grains per panicle, 1000 grain weight of 350-360 g, the average number of rows per ear grain number per row 15, 33-35, 160-220, G single grain weight per spike, spike length 16-18 cm. 'Longping206' planting density and N, K and cultivated technique: yield of 9750-10725 kg/hm2, requirement of the pure nitrogen application rate was 247.5-306 kg/hm2, K was 261.3 -315.9 kg/hm2 or 540 kg/hm2 urea, 450 kg/hm2 K2SO4. This code specifies requirements for a 'Longping206' varieties suitable for ecological and climatic conditions, yield and index of population structure, technical route, high-yield cultivation techniques, field management, harvesting techniques; puts forward 75000 kg/hm2 to 11250 kg/hm2 yield and population structure index; specific agronomic plan: determine the appropriate ecological planting time, deep circumflex type the fertilizer sowing technology, integration, high density, fertilization, pest control, timely late harvest.

  ADVANCES ON INDUCED MUTATION BREEDING FOR CASSAVA 2014, 4 (2):  34-38.  Abstract + ( 1151 )   PDF ( 1284KB )   ( 1856 ) In order to speed up the process of cassava varieties breeding, the author briefly reviewed the advances in research on mutation breeding of cassava at home and abroad. Various factors such as selection of explants , mutagenesis method, mutation of the way, mutagenic effect of cassava, the identification of mutant, screening of mutants and the isolation of chimeric strategy were emphatically analyzed. It also has some problems of Mutation of randomness , chimeras and solution. So how to establish a high efficient system for mutation breeding of cassava is the key problem. And Mutation breeding technology and the combination of in vitro culture technology and biotechnology will be the research emphases in future.

  The Research of Antifungal Activity from Corydalis Chloroform Extract on Several Kinds of Pathogenic Fungi of Corn and Soybeans 2014, 4 (2):  39-42.  Abstract + ( 1045 )   PDF ( 1639KB )   ( 1148 ) In order to biological control frequent disease of corn and soybean, the antibacterial activity of several common fungal diseases of corn and soybeans was tested on the in vitro by use of Corydalis chloroform extract. The test result of mycelial growth rates showed that, the inhibition rate of Corydalis chloroform extract on cercosporidium sofinum (Hara) Liu & Guo and Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn reached more 80%, the value of EC50 were 52.98-58.98 mg/L. The test result of spore germination showed that, the inhibition rate of pathogenic fungus were all high, the rate reached 100% on cercosporidium sofinum (Hara) Liu & Guo and Bipolaris maydis. The biological control tested showed that: all of the control effency of disease were below 60% except Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn that reached 61.46%.

  The Control Effect of Different Pesticides to Rhopalosiphum padi of Wheat 2014, 4 (2):  43-46.  Abstract + ( 1092 )   PDF ( 1216KB )   ( 1300 ) Rhopalosiphum padi was the major pest in Southwestern wheat region. The toxicity of two chemical pesticides (fenvalerate-omethoate and abamectin-imidacloprid) and two botanical pesticides (capsaicin solution and garlic-onion-delicious onion solution) to Rhopalosiphum padi were tested in the laboratory and field. The results showed that, the aphids mortality was 100% soaked in chemistry pesticides and 76.7%-86.7% in botanical pesticides in the laboratory. The insecticide efficacy of abamectin-imidacloprid was first, fenvalerate-omethoate second, then capsaicin solution and garlic-onion-delicious onion solution in the field. In other words, Rhopalosiphum padi was sensitive to abamectin-imidacloprid (correction control effect over 90%), and was lower sensitive to two botanical pesticides (correction control effect 40.5%-50.8%). Besides, aphid population development was always influenced by bad meteorological factors such as wind and rain. In order to get better control effect, abamectin-imidacloprid can be chosen first and the related research of botanical pesticide needs to be strengthened.

  Discussion on Brownfield Redevelopment Under the Background of Two-oriented Society:A Case Study in Yizhang County of Hunan Province 2014, 4 (2):  47-50.  Abstract + ( 1096 )   PDF ( 1324KB )   ( 1205 ) In order to known the present situation of brownfield use, forming reasons of brownfield and existing problems in brownfield reuse, taking Yizhang County in Hunan Province as an investigate site, and on-the-spot visit, measurement and questionnaire survey were used to obtain basic information. Typical brownfields in county internal, rural-urban continuum, villages and towns were selected to analyze, and summarize the cause of the formation of brownfields in Yizhang: firstly was market competition led factory closures; secondly was plan influences again; thirdly was inherent in factory pollution; fourthly was caused by mining. Brownfield redevelopment mode was put forward in this paper, brownfields in county internal, rural-urban continuum, villages and towns with different redevelopment modes, and the reuse of the social, economic and ecological benefits obtained were analyzed.

Issues relating to the improvement of nation’s legal system, recycling network and disposal and recovery technologies were discussed. Emphasis was also put on education and publicity in China, through technical strategy, management strategies and economic strategies, it could promote multiparty interaction, play overall system efficiency and save resources and reduce environmental pollution in rural areas.

  Distribution Characteristics and Influence Factors of Alpine Steppe Ecosystem Vegetation C/P in Tibetan Plateau 2014, 4 (2):  55-62.  Abstract + ( 1030 )   PDF ( 1883KB )   ( 1173 ) In order to reveal the distribution characteristics and influence factors of alpine steppe ecosystem vegetation C/P in Tibetan plateau, taking alpine steppe ecosystem in Tibetan Plateau as the abject, the vegetation C/P distribution characteristics and its influence factors were researched, based on the methods of field investigation combining with laboratory analysis. The results showed that: the average leaf N/P of 19 grassland type plants of alpine steppe in Tibetan Plateau was 204.53, the coefficient of variation (CV) was 35.72%. And the average root system C/P was 226.29, the CV was 27.93%. N/P appeared lower in east and west and higher in the middle part of Tibetan Plateau as a macrocosm tendency with distribution characteristics of staggered pattern. The key environmental influence factors of plant leaves C/P were: average annual temperature, average temperature in the coldest month, precipitation during the period from June to September, soil bulk density of depths from 0 cm to 10 cm, soil water content of depths from 10 cm to 20 cm, soil content of available K and water-soluble carbon and total nitrogen and total N, P and K. And the key environmental influence factors of plant roots C/P were average temperature in the coldest month, ≥10℃ accumulated temperature, average annual precipitation, aboveground biomass production, soil pH, soil organic matter and soil content of total K, P and carbohydrate.

  Investigation of Vegetation in Wenjiagou Debris Flow Area 2014, 4 (2):  63-67.  Abstract + ( 1073 )   PDF ( 1815KB )   ( 1465 ) Secondary research of Wenchuan earthquake debris flow accumulation to vegetation restoration measures, provide a reference for the debris flow disasters and similar artificial vegetation recovery in Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, the Qing Pingxiang Wenjia gully debris flow natural vegetation body as the research object, a random set of plots, with the Simpson index and Shannorr-Weiner index in the investigation plots the vegetation coverage, uniformity, diversity, the importance value of vegetation composition, analysis. Through field survey found, the Wenjiagou debris flow area of natural vegetation restoration of 42 species, belonging to 23 families and 37 genera, including 13 species of Compositae, Gramineae, Rosaceae, 5 3, 2 kinds of amaranthaceae. All plants, 1, 2, 15 annual and biennial herbs, 15 species of perennial herbs, 1 species of pteridophytes, 5 species of trees, 6 kinds of shrubs.

  Comprehensive Evaluation of Soil and Water Conservation Function of Phyllostachys praecox cv. Prevernalis stands returned from farmland. Based on fuzzy mathematics and multivariate statistical, the soil and water conservation function of Phyllostachys praecox cv. Prevernalis stands returned from farmland under different types had been comprehensive evaluation. The results showed the comprehensive index of soil and water conservation function of Phyllostachys praecox cv. Prevernalis stands returned from farmland granter than farmland. The Phyllostachys praecox cv. Prevernalis stand returned from farmland with proportion of 2:3.5:3.5:1, density of 9000-15000 culms/hm2, organic fertilizer 30000 kg/hm2, compound fertilizer 3000 kg/hm2 and mulching method had the highest comprehensive index of soil and water conservation function. These results could be provide the basis for the regulation of soil and water conservation function of Phyllostachys praecox cv. Prevernalis, and it had important practical significance to promote of soil and water conservation function of Phyllostachys praecox cv. Prevernalis stands returned from farmland.

  Study on Part Clones，Seedling Growth Rule of Lagerstroemia indica 2014, 4 (2):  72-74.  Abstract + ( 1041 )   PDF ( 1306KB )   ( 1196 ) To obtain Lagerstroemia indica clone varieties for nursery foster, ten kinds of cutting clone varieties selected by Taishan Forestry Academe were used as materials for surveying the annual growths of different varieties’ height of seedlings and 50 centimeter ground diameters. The result of the observation showed that Lagerstroemia indica ‘Dahua 6’ had the most annual (124.3714 cm) increment and the most ground diameter (1.0514 cm) increment, ‘Dai2’ had the second most annual and ground diameter increment. These two were the fast-growing varieties obviously.

  The Performance of Blueberry in Different Ecosystems in the Northwest of Yunnan 2014, 4 (2):  75-78.  Abstract + ( 1150 )   PDF ( 1496KB )   ( 1209 ) In order to develop blueberry industry, realize the regionalization of blueberry varieties, conduct the planter to according to production purposes, choose the right ecological conditions and varieties. The author mainly researched on the phenological periods of different blueberry cultivars. By carrying out a systematic investigation on the phonological periods of 3 types of blueberry cultivars: ‘Brightwell’, ‘Misty’ and ‘Bluecrop’, the author found that: there were obviously different phonological periods either between the three cultivars at the same ecosystem or for the same cultivar in different ecosystems.

  Experiment on Controlling Effect of 3 Fungicides Against Eucalyptus Purple Blotch in Forest 2014, 4 (2):  79-81.  Abstract + ( 1818 )   PDF ( 1514KB )   ( 1371 ) To search the high-efficiency, long time-efficiency and safe fungicides against Eucalyptus purple blotch, difenoconazole 10% WG, thiophanate-methyl SC at the concentration of 500 g/L and 50% carbendazim WP were evaluated through experiment in forest and clear water as CK. The results showed that: 3 kinds of fungicides all had relatively good effect for controlling eucalyptus purple blotch. The most of eucalyptus were able to restore growth, grow new shoots after the 3rd round of spray at the interval of 10 days. And, the 1500 times of difenoconazole 10% WG possessed comparatively satisfied effect on Eucalyptus purple blotch. After using the fungicide, its disease index was 25.24, and its controlling effect reached 40.24%; followed by the 600 times of thiophanate-methyl SC, its disease index was 27.09, and its controlling effect reached 35.87%; and the 500 times of 50% carbendazim WP, its disease index was 32.21, and its controlling effect was 23.74%; the disease index of CK was 42.24. The above fungicides were safe to Eucalyptus.

Here, we have reviewed research advances relating to the classification, morphological characteristics, geographic distribution, biological characteristics, artificial cultivation method, chemical constituents, pharmacological activity-of Coriolus versicolor in order to provide a source of reference for the further development.

  Review of Regulated Deficit Irrigation Application on Muskmelon Cultivation 2014, 4 (2):  85-90.  Abstract + ( 987 )   PDF ( 1552KB )   ( 1912 ) The growing shortage of water resources and increasing demand of agricultural water is a serious contradiction which we human have faced. It’s regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) that provides us an available way to solve the problem. The development and theory of RDI, the specific application of RDI in plant of muskmelon and the effects of RDI on yield, quality, WUE of muskmelon will be introduced in the paper. It demonstrate that not only the fruit quality could improve and the yield would remain stable even increase, but also the WUE will become more efficient, if suitable water stress is applied on muskmelon on a appropriate period. Lastly, some main problems and shortage in RDI up to now are pointed out and summarized, which make us a bold outlook, to help scientists break through continuously and gain new achievement.

  The Comparison and Analysis of Health (or safety) Indicators Between Current Standards of Green Food of Dominating Fruit Vegetables in North China and the National Food Safety Standards 2014, 4 (2):  91-98.  Abstract + ( 1451 )   PDF ( 1247KB )   ( 1315 ) To better understand and correctly use the green food standards, give full play to its role in the actual production, and promote the improvement of the quality and safety of agricultural products, according to the latest release of national food safety standards issued by nation and national green food standards issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, the author takes some dominating vegetables, fruits in North China as examples to compare and analyze the health (or safety) indicators and discusses the existing problems in the formulation and implementation process of the present standards of green food. The technical key points of the green food standards have been grasped and reasonable suggestions have been put forward, which are good for the application and implementation of the green food standards and provide reference for the revision and consummation of green food standards in China.

In this paper, Qibin District of Hebi City as an example, the author analyzed the processing method of planning layers and pay attention to some problems in planning layout based on Kq Planning, accounted that could better deal with the county and township level land use planning layers and could efficiently build the database of county-level land use planning.

  Review of Cotton Production in Anhui Province in 2012——CCGI Application in Anhui Province 2014, 4 (2):  103-106.  Abstract + ( 1055 )   PDF ( 1494KB )   ( 1173 ) The continuous monitoring data of 600 cotton growers was analyzed，in order for commenting Anhui Province cotton production in 2012, by the use of China Cotton Growth Index (CCGI) evaluation system. The weather condition Anhui Province in 2012 was conducive to the growth of cotton. Anhui cotton growth index in 2012 was 105. The cotton acreage of Anhui Province in 2012 decreased 11.1% comparing to 2011, while the lint yield per unit area decreasing 0.8%, and the lint yield decreasing 11.8%. Because of the increasing of materials and labor costs, the cotton revenue of Anhui province in 2012 decreased 34.7% comparing to 2011. With the continuing slump in cotton production, it is expected that Anhui cotton acreage in 2013 will decrease 18.0% compared to 2012.

  The Status Quo and Development Strategies of Commercial Breeding Crops in China 2014, 4 (2):  117-120.  Abstract + ( 1090 )   PDF ( 1269KB )   ( 1720 ) Abstract: In recent years, the domestic seed industry had challenged by foreign seed companies. The control of the market was facing changes, and the safety of crop was being challenged. In order to explore the scientific methods of conducting commercialization of crop breeding, the status quo of commercial crop breeding and the gap between domestic and foreign seed industry were illustrated in this paper with detailed analysis. The paper described the current development of domestic seed industry, analyzed methods of achieving commercial breeding for tech seed companies, growing seed companies, and business seed companies. The concept of commercial breeding was concluded, also the overall goal, breeding methods, and breeding strategies of commercial breeding crops in China was proposed. It suggested if China was to become the No.1 country of the world seed industry, multinational seed corporation, modern seed innovation system with clear division of labor, and advanced and efficient commercial breeding system were needed.
